During my recent stay at Demeure, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance of comfort and value it presented. The hotel offers a lovely outdoor dining area, perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a quiet evening glass of wine. I appreciated the availability of free parking, which is especially useful when exploring the charming Loire area. The seasonal outdoor pool provided a refreshing escape, and the garden furniture around it was ideal for basking in the sun or enjoying a book. As a history professor, I found the proximity to nearby castles and picturesque villages a major draw. Stephanie, the host, was discreet yet incredibly helpful, providing tips for local markets and dining options. The spacious sitting area with a flat-screen TV and board games was perfect, especially when unwinding after a long day of cycling. While it felt luxurious, the Demeure offers considerable value for budget-conscious travelers who appreciate a touch of comfort in stunning surroundings.
